ACCREDITATION AND AFFILIATION

Eagle’s View Academy operates under the authority, constitution, and bylaws of Eagle’s View Academy, Inc.  The Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) accredits Eagle’s View Academy.  Through this accrediting body, we are affiliated, on the state level, with the Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools (FAANS), on the national level, with the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), and on the global level, the International Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (IACCS). 

 

FACULTY

Teachers at Eagle’s View Academy have the proper spiritual, as well as academic qualifications.  Teachers are graduates of four-year degree-granting colleges or universities, teach primarily in their field of study, and are certified by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.

In addition to salvation, the foremost requirements for teachers at Eagle’s View Academy are an unselfish dedication to Christian education, a sincere love for children, and a complete devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Professional Misconduct 

All employees and agents of a public school district, charter school, or private school have an obligation and legal responsibility to report misconduct by instructional personnel and school administrators which affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student. Failure to report misconduct may result in penalties up to termination of employment and revocation of an educator's certificate. Such misconduct may include, but is not limited to, obscene language, drug and alcohol abuse, disparaging comments, prejudice or bigotry, sexual innuendo, cheating or testing violations, physical aggression, and accepting or offering favors.  All incidents of professional misconduct should be reported to:Josh Sheetz,School Administrator, at 904-786-1411 Extension 114

If someone tells you about misconduct, be a LEADER: Listen, Evaluate, Act immediately, Document, Encourage, and Report.

Professional Ethics Standards
In accord with the Florida Ethics in Education Act, all employees of Eagle’s View Academy have a duty to report all suspected or actual cases of child abuse, abandonment, or neglect; have immunity from liability if they report such cases in good faith and have a duty to comply with child protective investigations. There is a legal penalty for not reporting suspected or alleged child abuse or alleged misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators. The Florida Abuse Hotline is 1.800.962.2873.
